PlayStation Goes All In on the Collab
Sony and Rockstar aren't playing subtle. Two official Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense controllers were revealed on the PlayStation Blog — a Black edition and a White edition, both with a shimmering color-shifting finish, palm-tree details molded into the grips, and official GTA VI branding. Sony's pitch: the white one "embodies Vice City at daybreak," the black one "captures the energy of Vice City's iconic nightlife."
Price is $84.99 (£74.99 / €84.99). Pre-orders opened September 10, and the controllers ship November 19 — launch day. The White edition sells at direct.playstation.com and participating retailers globally; the Black edition is direct.playstation.com plus select retailers in other regions.
Sold Out Once, Back Again
They moved fast. The Shortcut reports the first wave sold out, then restocked — as of September 15 it lists the black controller in stock at PlayStation Direct, and the white one at PlayStation Direct, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and Target, with GameStop still sold out.
Limited edition Sony hardware tied to the biggest game launch in years won't sit on shelves. Set restock alerts and check more than one retailer.
